a little about who I am
Hi, I'm Kristina Susak!
I’m a 29-year-old photographer with a deep love for capturing real, unguarded moments that often go unnoticed. Over the past few years, I’ve been quietly building my craft — learning to see light differently, move with intention, and document stories with care and authenticity.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll most likely find me in a gym coaching volleyball full time, where my passion for connection, teamwork, and emotion carries over into my photography. I thrive in spaces where people feel seen, supported, and free to be themselves.
At home, I’m happily outnumbered by my two cats, who keep life equal parts chaotic and comforting. Whether I’m on the court or behind the lens, I’m driven by curiosity, empathy, and a love for meaningful moments.
What is done in love is done well.

I grew up in a military family, moving around quite a bit! Colorado Springs became home, where I lived for 15 years before moving to Wisconsin in the summer of 2020. I played collegiate volleyball in South Dakota and am currently employed as a college volleyball coach, which I absolutely love! I am truly living the dream -- having the opportunity to be around the sport that I love, while also capturing you and your loved ones. Life couldn't get much better!
My momma was always running around with her camera, so it's no surprise that I developed a passion for photography. I began taking photos of friends in high school and picked it back up after college. Since then, I have had many opportunities to meet new people and take photos of their special moments -- from engagements to pregnancy announcements to weddings. I am constantly looking to grow and learn as a photographer and would love your help in doing so!
